What does St. Patrick's Day, Women's Basketball, Barrel Racing and boys youth basketball have in common?


It's all happening in Bryan College Station, Texas this weekend March 16-19.   


For your St. Patty's Day enjoyment visit one of the local Irish Pub's

in Bryan but about half way between downtown Bryan and TAMU on S. College you will find

in the Northgate District there is O'Bannon's who is
is having their St. Patrick's Day 2012 Celebration all day.   


Texas A&M is hosting games for the first two rounds of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament on Saturday and Monday. Ticket sales for Saturdays game as of Thursday was 5,200 and 4,000 for Monday.  Tickets will also be available at the box office or online at 12thmanfoundation.com.  Steve Miller, director of events at the A&M athletic department, said the tournament games will fill at least 500 hotel rooms this weekend.  


The first annual Diamonds and Dirt Barrel Horse Classic is "bringing the bling back to Texas" where it all began! is going on March 14 - 18 at the Brazos County Expo.   There are 1,300-participants signed up for this event.   


Kindra Fry, director of sports at the Bryan-College Station Convention and Visitors Bureau, said that virtually every hotel room in the community is booked through the weekend.
